About
A travel magazine that sells the gear it carries
SiiYa Traveler exists because the two useful things — where to go and what to take — are usually sold separately, by people with different incentives. We publish the route and the packing list together, and we tell you which parts we got wrong.
Our standards
What we will and will not do
These are the rules the site is built to, not a mission statement.
Supplier facts, labelled as supplier facts
Products come from Shopify Collective suppliers and are not tested by SiiYa before they are listed. Product details come from the supplier, so check each listing for the specifications that matter to your trip.
We publish what did not work
Every journey we publish includes what we got wrong. A packing list with no regrets in it has not been used.
No manufactured urgency
No countdown timers, no invented stock warnings, no "twelve people are looking at this". If something is genuinely low or discontinued we will say so plainly, and if it is not, we will say nothing.
Specifications that decide something
Stowed size, weight, 12V draw, whether it fits under a van bench. We publish the numbers that change a decision and leave out the ones that fill a table.
Pet guidance is bounded
Every pet-travel item states what it does, and what it doesn’t replace. Nothing on this site is veterinary or medical advice.
Readable by design
Body text starts at 17px, contrast is checked rather than eyeballed, nothing is hidden behind hover alone, and every animation can be switched off by your own system setting.
Status of this site
This is a storefront prototype
Products and pricing come from the connected Shopify store. The stories, travellers and routes shown are editorial content written for this site, not catalogue data.
